This month, sf.citi and San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) brought together teachers, administrators, technology and non-profit leaders to redesign and update curricula in the school district's three operating Information Technology academies. Located at Balboa, Galileo, and Lowell High Schools, the IT academies prepare hundreds of students for  future careers in the tech sector, which is why we sought industry input from the sf.citi community for the process.

At a workshop hosted by Tagged, company leadership from LinkedIn, Zynga, Tagged, blackgirlscode, SparkAmerica, and AT&T convened to provide an employer perspective for SFUSD and learn about the National Career Technical Standards of the district.
